All orders received in our systems are dispatched within 24 to 48 hours. You can track your order at any time using the (Track my or) functions. After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email containing the order number so you can access the shipment tracking.

The (pre-order) items are products that are new on the market or products that we expect to be in stock soon. Products that are new to our dealers in Japan are items that we have pre-ordered as a shop but are not yet available. In these cases, you have the option of buying these products for a (pre-order) price because we only have an approximate delivery date for these products.

For the (pre-order) items that we have already ordered and are on the way to our warehouse, the delivery times are (1 to 3 weeks). The estimated delivery time is stated for the products in the product description.

• The idea for modeltrains-Japan came about when we realized that many people had difficulty importing Japanese models on their own due to various obstacles. Although companies like Kato or Tomix were already well known in Europe, we realized that many still had problems acquiring their favorite Shinkansen for their collection. These problems ranged from customs clearance to uncertainty in choosing a suitable Japanese supplier, payment difficulties on foreign websites and other challenges. As passionate model train enthusiasts, we have developed an efficient import route from Japan to Germany and decided to share our knowledge to give others the opportunity to order (and most importantly: pre-order!) all the Japanese models they want in N scale without the hassle of customs duties, taxes or shipping uncertainties.

Our products can be returned within 14 days of receipt. Please use the original packaging. We will be happy to help you with any questions you may have.
