The E353 series, which began commercial operation in December 2017, is the successor to the E257 and E351 series previously active in [Azusa] and [Kaiji]. It has a body tilting device with air spring and a key feature is that it has the same curve passing performance as the E351 series.
The simple yet powerful design with its alpine white body and Azusa purple band symbolizes the next generation limited-edition express train. Currently active in "Super Azusa", "Azusa" and "Kaiji".
- The vehicles included in the set are the same as <10-1834 E353 Series “Azusa/Kaiji” Base Set (4 Cars)>.
- The power supply is easy to use and uses a high output (1.2A) “Power Pack Standard SX” and a “special starter AC adapter”.
